  1. The safety, health and welfare of employees of Media Southwest, agents and its sub-contractors is a high priority for Media Southwest. Public safety, and the safety of contractors employed by Media Soutwest, are equally important.
  2. Media Southwest constantly ensures that its contractor’s advertising structures, fences and land within the precincts of poster panels are maintained in good condition.
  3. Media Southwest endeavours to constantly identify applicable statutory Safety & Environmental obligations and put in place appropriate systems and controls to ensure compliance (an outline of core obligations are listed at below).
  4. Media Southwest endeavours to constantly ensure the competence of its employees and contractors
  5. and provides them with information, instruction and training to allow their activities to be conducted in a safe manner.
  6. Media Southwest constantly endeavours to operates in a manner designed to minimise and where possible, eliminate releases to air, land or water, focusing on safe technologies and operating practices.
  7. Media Southwest constantly endeavours to reduce waste through reuse or recycling of materials where this is economically justifiable. Unavoidable waste will be disposed of in a safe and responsible manner.
  8. Media Southwest has its own internal organisation and arrangements for the management and resourcing of safety.
  9. Media Southwest will ensure the procurement, construction and maintenance of safe plant, equipment, infrastructure and working environments.
  10. Media Southwest in cooperation with the regulatory authorities, constantly develops and communicates guidelines on safe working practices to all its contractors, agents and employees.
